Pyser Testing aims to offer affordable, simple and speedy Covid-19 (Antigen and Antibody) tests to businesses and members of the public around the UK. Administered by British military medical veterans, Pyser wants to relieve pressure on the NHS and help people confirm their status. Pyser Testing works in partnership with Leicester City Health (LCH), a prominent Leicester healthcare company, and it is Care Quality Commission registered.
We work with businesses to enable employers to make antigen and antibody testing available to their employees within their local communities. We will manage our data online with necessary permissions to enable the data to be integrated into government systems (if required and permissioned) and assist with corporate HR tracking (where permissioned).
Antigen tests: The antigen test we offer is a back to lab PCR swab test. As we continue to navigate life during the Covid-19 pandemic, most countries have implemented travel restrictions to ensure the safety of their citizens and to stop the spread of the virus. There are strict guidelines for essential travellers which vary from quarantine once you reach a destination, or negative test results upon entry. Several countries require a PCR test conducted in the days prior (time frames vary depending on the country) to confirm they do not have Covid-19 at the time of travel. Pyser Testing uses the Coronavirus PCR Swab Testing Kit which detects current coronavirus infection. A negative result could allow passengers to travel to certain countries as well as provide exemption to travellers from quarantine too. Our tests are over 99% accurate in detecting the RNA from coronavirus and are conducted by a CQC certified company and laboratory, adhering to under Public Health England guidelines.
Antibody tests: The initial test we use is the CTK Biotech COVID-19 IgG/IgM Rapid Test Device. From a regulatory point of view, MHRA has confirmed that the CTK Biotech branded product can be placed on the UK market for professional use only and not for home use. Where required we also use the Public Health England approved Abbott and Roch Elisa Tests. These involve a venus blood sample to be sent back to lab.
